Abstract: This paper reports on an investigation into the reproductive and settlement cycles of the Blue Mussel, Mytilus edulis, at an exposed rocky shore in Kinsale Harbour, Co. Cork, from November 1988 to August 1990. Patterns were similar to other studies in Ireland and the UK.
