Abstract: Report gives the results of an experimental study to look at drift in the Irish Sea. Postcards were inserted into small glass vials and released off the east coast of Ireland. The cards had some information as to the nature of the experiment and requested the finder to fill in locality, date and hour of finding and to send back immediately.
