Abstract: Macrofauna were collected by dredging at Greystones, Co. Wicklow. The dredging, originally to collect zoophytes, uncovered some rare sea anemones and some other interesting species of macrofauna. Four species of sea anemone were of particular interest, Bolocera eques, Stomphia churchiae (= S. coccinea), Adamsia palliata and Aureliania heterocera; two of these were new Irish records. Further dredging took place from Cable Rock seaward for 6/7 miles; the shore line was also examined. The littoral and sublittoral substrata are described. A brief list of the species collected is presented.
