Abstract: Paper reports on the collections of Echinodermata made during dredgings on the 1888 Royal Irish Academy dredging expedition. Forty species were collected, five of which were new to science. Dredging took place to depths between 345 and 750 fathoms, and the species collected at these depths were an interesting addition to the list of echinoderms at that time. A list of the species collected, with the lat/long position and depth of collection, is presented. The new species are described in taxonomic detail and accompanied with illustrative plates. There were four new species of asteroid and one new species of echinoid.
