Abstract: This is the first part of a report on a survey of trawling grounds on the coasts of the counties Down, Louth, Meath and Dublin, and concentrates on a record of fishing operations. These are given in some detail: each species of marketable fish, from each of 567 trawls, is analysed by size-class.
