Abstract: Paper describes studies of Lahon Island, Rathlin O'Birne, St. John's Point and Murles Point (Co. Donegal) and Stag Rocks (Co. Mayo) which are in Sea Area 34, for the purposes of recording Mollusca. However, many other species were noted at each of these locations between 1986 - 1990 and are also mentioned. There are descriptions of dive sites at each of the study areas, including their geological characteristics. There were 136 live species recorded from Sea Area 34 (34 of them nudibranchs) with 45 new or updated records (note not all are listed under 'species').
