Abstract: Eight species of sea spider were collected during the Clare Island Survey, most of which were common and widespread around the Irish coast. The area surveyed was from Blacksod Bay to Ballynakill Harbour. Descriptions of where the species were found, the collection depths, and notes of any previous records in Ireland are presented. Reference is made to the wider global distribution of the species.
