Abstract: Specimens of Polyzoa were collected during the Clare Island Survey from Clew Bay, Westport Bay, Blacksod Bay, and from the shores of Clare Island and surrounding area. Both dredging and shore collections were made. Seventy-five species of Polyzoa were recorded, two were new records for the Irish coast and one species had not previously been found at a depth of less than 50 fathoms. This was the first published list of Polyzoa for the area. The species collected from the Clare Island area were compared to records from the Dublin Bay area. A list of the species collected is presented with notes on rare and common species, habitat, depth, and site of collection.
