Abstract: Paper presents data on pelagic eggs of fishes collected during each of the years 1967 to 1971 (between late April and mid June) by tow netting at various stations around the Irish coast. A total of 16,902 identified eggs were taken belonging to 27 species or groups. Sampling stations included estuaries, bays and open coast. At each station hydrological data were collected including salinity, temperature and tidal movements.
