Abstract: This paper presents results of an oceanographic survey which was part of a larger study to identify an alternative sewage disposal site to the location off Howth, Co. Dublin. Paper includes bathymetric mapping of the seafloor, drift bottle and drogue studies and temperature, salinity and oxygen profiles of the water column in the vicinity of the new site. It also includes the collation of existing wind and current data.
