Abstract: A survey of the flora of Lambay Island, with reference to the island's geology, and to previous botanical surveys. Rare species and those peculiar to a particular habitat are discussed. A list of the 291 species of flowering plant and fern are presented with habitat and abundance. The species recorded during the survey are compared to those found on Inishbofin off the west of Ireland.
