Abstract: This paper presents the results of a copepod survey undertaken in 1903 from Valencia Island to the Faroe Banks, keeping almost entirely within the 'warm area' of the Atlantic. 23 new copepod species are described, including four new genera (Megacalanus, Pseudoetideus, Faroella, Paraugaptilus). The geographical distribution of all copepods is discussed, as well as vertical trends in species richness.
