Abstract: This paper reclassifies Eunice philocorallia as E. gunneri. E. philocorallia had previously been proposed as a new species by the author (this journal, <B>8</B>(2), 1893), based on a specimen taken off Bolus Head, Co. Kerry, from 200 fathoms.
