Abstract: The sipunculid Physcosoma granulatum is characteristic on the west coast of Ireland, and is common under stones and in crevices around the shores of Muck, particularly abundant on the exposed side of the island. However, only single specimens haev been twice before recorded from N. Uist, Hebrides, and Biscay, Orkney.
