Abstract: Nemertines were collected during the Clare Island Survey. Littoral species were mainly collected on the eastern shore of the Mullet Peninsula, and Blacksod Bay, Co. Mayo. Other species were collected by dredging in Clew Bay, Blacksod Bay, and Ballynakill Harbour. Thirty-one species of nemertine were recorded, including two species new to science, Lineus acutifrons and Prostoma beaumati, one species new to the British Isles, and seven new to Irish waters. A systematic species list with habitat, descriptive detail of some species, and records outside of the UK and Ireland is presented.
