Abstract: Abstract only. The relative impacts of human and natural exploitation of cockles and mussels in Dundrum Bay were determined. It was determined that the level of commercial removal was within the capacity of the exploited populations and the main area of conflict was considered to be the overlap between the commercially harvested size ranges and the preferred prey sizes of the natural predators.
