Abstract: This paper examines the establishment of fouling organisms and in particular the demography of the mussel Mytilus edulis/ galloprovincialis on the Celtic Sea Kinsale field gas platforms. It examines changes in depth to 90m on platform Alpha and compares the fouling on platforms Alpha and Bravo at 18 m.
