Abstract: This report presents the results of a survey of benthic marine habitats and communities in 1 littoral and 19 sublittoral sites in Bantry Bay, Co. Cork, and 2 littoral and 1 sublittoral site in Kenmare River, in counties Cork and Kerry. The results of previous studies are also summarized and a conservation assessment of the area is provided.
