Abstract: This report presents the results of a marine benthic survey carried out in 1993 of littoral and sublittoral habitats and communities of Kilkieran Bay, Skerd rocks and the most westerly Aran Island, Inishmore, counties Galway and Clare. These are compared with those in previous studies. A conservation assessment is also given for the communities described.
