Abstract: This is the twenty-second paper in the 'Littoral and benthic investigations on the west coast of Ireland' series and looks at the biology of the shore clingfish Lepadogaster lepadogaster captured at Inishbofin, Co. Galway, off northwest Connemara. A total of 129 fish were captured from the shore at low water spring tides. Meristics and morphometrics were carried out, with food items also noted. Age, growth and reproduction data for the population are also discussed.
