Abstract: This review paper deals mainly with the demography and growth of sea trout in Irish rivers, discussing marine migration briefly. A catch of sea trout taken 10 miles south of Carna, Co. Galway, in 1961 is examined in an appendix, with tables given on length, weight, sex and gut contents.
