Abstract: This paper is the seventh in a series to investigate the plankton of the west coast of Ireland. Specimens used in the present study were collected during routine cruises between 1972 and 1978 in Galway Bay and other western areas since 1977. This paper aimed to provide basic information on a series of investigations upon the ecology and biology of ctenophores from these areas.
