Abstract: This paper introduces report on exploitable living resources in the Irish Sea. The overall objectives were the assessment of the capacity of the Irish Sea to provide a substantial yield from its living resources, and to understand the factors which affect this yield. Report has also attempted to identify the relevant living resources such as natural stocks and cultivated animals and plants. This report also deals with the factors affecting the size of the resources and sets objectives for their rational management.
