Abstract: An inexhaustive species list of hirudineans, collected incidentally in the course of other work in the Clare Island area, is presented. This includes seven species of marine leech found on various fish. The common skate-leech Pontobdella muricata was among the seven. The host fish for the marine species are also listed.
