Abstract: Paper discusses a study of the feeding habits of the seastar Marthasterias glacialis made in situ with observations off the coast of Sherkin Island, Co. Cork. The effect of sea conditions, diurnal variation and surface digestion was also examined. The dominant macrobiota present at the study site was also examined.
