Abstract: The R.V. Lough Beltra was used by the Fisheries Research Centre, Dublin during 1990 to collect fish from Irish coastal waters for heavy metal and chlorinated hydrocarbon measurements, and during the winter months of 1991 to collect water samples for on board nutrient analysis and salinity measurements in the western Irish Sea.
