Abstract: Paper reports on the results of a survey of sublittoral Echinus esculentus populations at 2 sites in Bantry Bay, SW Ireland. Population ecology, and distribution with depth and with distance from the mouth of the bay are discussed. Populations are compared with those from other localities.
