Abstract: In this paper, multivariate techniques, specifically principal components analysis (PCA) and canonical correlation analysis (CCA), were applied to physical and biological (planktonic) data for 1972-73 in Galway Bay. These results were used to interpret the Chaetognatha findings during that time.
