Abstract: A dense population of the large tube-dwelling anemone Pachycerianthus multiplicatus was sampled in Kilkerran Bay, Connemara, Co. Galway, revealing 40 species which were settled on or in the tubes. Myxicola infundibulum and Golfingia elongata are not otherwise known from the area. The numerically abundant species present in the area are also noted.
