Abstract: Paper records the finding of three species of the genus Leptochiton (Mollusca) at Broad Water, Co. Donegal, during a Conchological Society field trip in June 1989. The three species were Leptochiton asellus, L. cancellatus and L. scabricus. Leptochiton scabricus in particular is rare, with a very restricted distribution. It was noted that the substratum at the Broad Water site was sufficiently diverse to accommodate all three species of Leptochiton, a hitherto unusual occurrence.
