Abstract: In this paper three genera of amphipod crustaceans are recorded as new to Ireland. One species of amphipod is recorded for the first time for the British Isles and 15 species are recorded for the first time for Ireland. The animals were collected predominantly on the east coast around Dalkey, Co. Dublin but Co. Wexford and Lough Hyne, Co. Cork also contributed. No details of the collecting methods used or of the number of collections made are given in this account.
