Abstract: This updates and corrects Massy's 1909 paper on Irish dibranchiate cephalopods. Species from eight families of Octopoda and Decapoda are taxonomically clarified. Specimens, all from the west coast of Ireland, are described and their vertical and geographic ranges noted.
