Abstract: Paper reports on the investigation of the fauna seaward of the 100 fathom line off the southwest coast of Ireland. The steamer Lord Bandon was hired, and dredgings were made at 13 stations; 40 miles off the southwest coast, Dursey Sound, mouth of Kenmare Bay, Ballinskellig Bay, 12 miles southwest of Great Skellig, mouth of Bantry Bay, Berehaven, Bantry Harbour, off Baltimore, Longisland Bay, nine miles south of Glandore and 12 miles off Clonakilty Bay. The depth of each dredge, and a list of the species collected is presented. There is a detailed abundance table of the species of testaceous molluscs collected. Species which were new to British records were noted.
