Abstract: Paper provides an annotated (location and date of collection, colour of the living animal, general comments on abundance or habitat) species list of marine sponges from N.E. Ireland. The majority of the specimens were collected between tide marks in a variety of habitats which include flat sheltered shore, exposed rocky coast with large deep pools, sheltered and muddy with low rocks and very few pools.
