Abstract: This paper discusses the vegetation of saltmarshes in Dublin and Connemara and the local occurrence of the Filipendulo-Iridetum pseudacori association is reported. Paper suggests that the saltmarshes have considerable similarity to those in western Scotland although attention is drawn to a number of differences.
