Abstract: Paper discusses 'interesting' algal forms which were recorded during a survey of the vegetation of the tidal zone of Strangford Lough. All the algae discussed are brown seaweeds. Their previous records and known distributions in Ireland (if any) are discussed, along with habitat descriptions.
