Abstract: Paper presents results of coastal survey of habitats and their flora along a stretch of coast which includes Killough and Coney Island, Co. Down. Descriptions of algae and lichens are divided into several habitats, including sheltered rocky shore, moderately exposed shore, sandy mud formation, vegetation of stream from Strand Lough and salt marsh formation.
