Abstract: This short note acknowledges the 'current number of the Journal of Conchology' by Miss Amy Warren who 'contributes a highly interesting article on the marine shells found on the shores of the bay of Killala, on the borders of Mayo and Sligo'. Miss Warren's list is the result of shore gathering and includes 183 species, some of which are very rare. Annotations are also given on the habitats of the littoral species.
