Abstract: This short note records the publication by Thompson, J. C. in the Trans. Biol. Soc. Liverpool (X, pp. 92-102) of 22 species of free swimming Copepoda captured by tow-netting at Valentia Island, Co. Kerry by Mr. E. T. Browne. This note lists six of the most noteworthy species.
