Abstract: A survey of the flora of Achill Island found the landscape to be barren of much vegetation, partly due to the season in which the survey took place. One hundred and twenty species were recorded, including the maritime species, Colts Foot, Draba verna, and Rue-Leaved Saxifrage, Saxifraga tridactylites, found on sandy wastes by the shore.
