Abstract: This is the first published list of molluscs from Achill Island. Shell collections were mainly from the northern coast of the island, where conditions were more sheltered. One hundred species and varieties were collected and are listed. The mollusc Pleurotoma septangularis was recorded for the first time in Ireland.
