Abstract: One hundred and twenty-four species and varieties of Foraminifera were collected from a small portion of shore sand in Dogs Bay, Connemara, Co. Galway. Three species (Lagena acuticosta, Polystomella macella, and Miliolina circularis) were new to British fauna, and one species, Gaudryina rudis, was new to science. Species abundance is noted.
