Abstract: Foraminifera were collected from dredgings and shore collections in Rathlin Sound and Church Bay, Rathlin Island, off the northern coast of Ireland. The dredgings were undertaken to collect shells, thus only the larger species of Foraminifera were retained due to the large mesh size. A list of species with their abundance is presented. Illustrative plates are included. The differences between Spiroplecta sp. and Textularia sp. are discussed. Botellina labyrinthica was noted as an interesting collection.
