Abstract: This short note comments on the list of marine Mollusca collected at Port Stewart, Co. Derry and published in the Transactions of the Natural History Society of Glasgow vol. vi. (new series) 1899-1900, pp. 1-17, by the Rev. G. A. Frank Knight. The species and varieties collected were compared to those found on the Clyde shores. Out of the 112 species and varieties obtained, the following seven 'do not appear to have been previously recorded from the shore of Down or Antrim': Ostrea edulis var. parasitica, Pecten tigrinus var. costata, Cardium tuberculatum, Venus gallina var. gibba, Purpura lapillus var. imbricata, Pleurotoma loevigata var. minor, and Bulla hydatis.
