Abstract: Paper presents the first systematic examination of the flora of Clare Island. The geology, topography, and land use of the island is briefly described. A list of the flora is presented, including a list of specifically maritime species, of which there were a limited number. The species found on Clare Island are compared to those found on Inishbofin.
