Abstract: A skull of the cetacean Mesoplodon hectori, collected from the Aran Islands, was examined. The measurements of the skull are noted and its teeth are described in detail within the jaw. An illustration of one tooth is figured next to the tooth of Ichythyosaurus and of Mosasaurus specimens.
