Abstract: This short note records the occurrence of the copepods Botachus cylindratus and Notopterophorus papilio from the branchial sacs of simple ascidians; both are new Irish species. Dactylopus brevicornis, thought to be another new Irish copepod species, was obtained in a bottom tow-net in Larne Lough.
