Abstract: A novices account of marine invertebrate collections made by dredging off the coast of Skerries, Co. Dublin is presented. Results are given for five dredging trips, extending from Skerries Harbour to Rockabill Island. Twenty-four hauls were taken from different substrata, as identified by local fishermen. Specimens were also collected from the shore and in total 90 species were recorded. A list of the more interesting species is presented.
