Abstract: A note of the first record of Atropis foucaudi in Ireland is given. Atropis is the generic name given by continental botanists to the maritime section of Glyceria. Other records of this species exist from England and France only. Atropis foucaudi appears to be confined to the tidal muds between high water spring and high water neaps. A taxonomic description of the grass is given in French.
