Epipactis leptochila (Godfrey) Godfrey

Narrow-lipped Heleborine

Description: A population of what appears to be this very rare species formerly grew at one site in south-east Co. Antrim alongside common helleborine (Epipactis helleborine). Unfortunately, recent clear-felling of the plantation where it grew may have obliterated it. First found in 1979.
